Navbharat times, december03,2018

New Delhi
Delhi Government is going to launch Common Mobility Card (Metro Card) with a new look today. With the new logo and design the card is absolutely ready. It is being used in metro and buses. In the buses, there is a 10% discount on the fare given by the Metro Card.

What's special in the new Metro Card?
1- The Metro card is different in its own right. Now this card will be known as 'One'.
2- 'One Delhi One Ride' slogan has been prepared for the card.
3- The design of the new card is also different, it will be the logo of Delhi Government, Metro, DTC.
4- The good thing is that after the launch of the new card, this card can be purchased from other stations besides Metro stations.
5- This card will also be available on all the bus bases, railway stations and DTTDC tourist information centers in Delhi.

Special preparations on the

bus bases with the card are being prepared specially on the cards at bus bases. There is also a plan to provide common cards to the people on the main buses, including Kashmiri Gate, Sarai Kale Khan, Anand Vihar. This is an important project for Transport Department and Metro because the Government wants to promote public transport system and in that direction this card will reduce the problem of people to a great extent. This is another attempt to make people travel in buses, so that people can avoid the hassle of buying tickets by cashing in. The way in which the plans for traveling from one card to public transport in foreign countries is being implemented, in the same way, this scheme is being extended to Delhi.
